The Kedar is a GORE-TEX shell that thrives on tough winter days, whether mountaineering in the worst weather, hiking wet hills, or skiing in waist-deep powder. It’s a tough and fully featured jacket that’s built for serious use.

Reliable GORE-TEX protection is paired with a 70 Denier face fabric that perfectly balances abrasion resistance with the comfort required for all-day wear and a wide variety of use in the mountains.

The Kedar is built on our Mountain fit, giving a little more room than the Alpine fit found in jackets like our Lhotse and Makalu. It has more space for layers with a slightly relaxed cut through the body and sleeves that doesn’t compromise performance as the ground gets steeper.

Our Mountain HC Hood is the same storm-proven design found widely in our shell range, offering excellent and easily adjusted protection with or without a helmet.

2 hand pockets and 2 chest pockets are large and accessible when wearing a pack or harness. There’s a further ski pass pocket on the sleeve and a laminated, laser-cut inner pocket. Pit zips give extra ventilation as the temperature rises but aren’t noticed when not required.
